The 2009 Celebrity Chef is CHEF DAVID BURKE!!

Chef David Burke, one of the leading pioneers in American cuisine, is the chef spokesperson for Taste of the Nation. He is the proprietor of several nationally renowned restaurants throughout the United States, including davidburke & donatella, David Burke @ Bloomingdales, David Burke Las Vegas, David Burke’s Primehouse and David Burke Fromagerie. Two new restaurants in Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Connecticut - David Burke Prime, a steakhouse equipped with a private event space and a three-story wine tower, and another Burke in the Box, opening in May 2008.

This year's Master of Ceremony is Damon Scott of 96.5 TIC, one of CT's most popular stations. Gary Craig will also be making a guest appearance.
